Characteristics
The PAT Foam With Frame Filter – Compact X is a replacement pre-filter assembly specifically designed for the PAT Compact-X Filtrabox fume extraction system. The foam filtration media is supplied installed in its supporting frame, providing a complete replacement assembly for maintaining the first stage of the Compact-X filtration system.
As the pre-filter stage, the foam filter is designed to remove the majority of larger airborne contaminants before the airflow reaches the system's finer filtration stages. This helps reduce particulate loading on the downstream filters and supports efficient operation of the Compact-X fume extractor.
The Compact-X uses a multi-stage filtration configuration that includes pre-filtration along with PTFE HEPA and OXY-carbon filtration. Maintaining the pre-filter is therefore an important part of keeping the complete filtration system functioning properly during DTF production.
