The PAT HEPA Filter (PTFE)-Micro – Micro Unit is a high-performance replacement HEPA filter engineered specifically for the PAT Micro Filtrabox filtration system. Designed as a critical filtration stage within the unit, it captures extremely fine airborne particulate generated during production processes and helps maintain clean, filtered exhaust air.
The HEPA filter is tested to achieve 99.999% efficiency at 0.3 microns, the particle size commonly associated with the most penetrating airborne particles. Particles both larger and smaller than 0.3 microns are captured even more effectively, providing exceptionally high particulate filtration performance.
High-surface-area mini-pleat filter media provides increased filtration capacity while maintaining efficient airflow through the Micro Filtrabox. The filter media is housed inside a rigid aluminum cartridge, helping prevent contamination bypass and providing a durable structure suitable for production environments.
When used as part of the Micro Filtrabox's multi-stage filtration system, the HEPA stage works downstream from the pre-filter. The Micro pre-filter is intended to capture a majority of submicronic respirable dust before it reaches the HEPA filter, helping reduce strain and premature HEPA loading.
