The PAT Foam Replacement Filter – Compact X is a replacement foam pre-filter designed specifically for the PAT Filtrabox Compact X fume extraction system. Positioned at the first stage of filtration, the foam helps capture airborne dust and particulate contamination before it reaches the system's critical HEPA filtration stage.
By removing a significant portion of particulate material at the pre-filter stage, the foam helps reduce loading on the downstream HEPA filter and supports efficient airflow through the Filtrabox system. Pre-filtration is particularly important because the Compact X HEPA stage is responsible for capturing extremely fine airborne particles.
Unlike the previous disposable-style Compact X pre-filter, the updated foam filter is washable and reusable, helping reduce routine filter replacement requirements. SPSI recommends having one foam filter installed in the frame while keeping an additional replacement foam filter available as a spare.
